OC Middle School 7th and 8th Graders Meet Amateur Radio

Stu W9HRZ introduces one of the 7th grade classes of Teacher Dave Fisher to Amateur Radio. In all, he
appeared before one 8th grade and three 7th grade classes.
The class watched as Stu W9HRZ took their picture and transmitted it via a hand held
transceiver to the station that displayed the picture that had arrived via radio waves.
Stu W9HRZ explained mobile operation to the class and made a contact via the Spencer
repeater.
