The following two courses should be taken by both ARES and RACES members in the following order:
IS-700a NIMS an Introduction
IS-100 Introduction to Incident Command System
In addition RACES members should complete the following two courses:
IS-200 ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents
IS-800 National Response Framework, an Introduction
